UIC Asset Management Global Conference 20-21 April 2023, Paris UIC HQ
The Asset Management Working Group of the International Union of Railways (UIC) is organising its fifth international Conference dedicated to Asset management, in Paris at UIC Headquarters, from 20 to 21 April 2023.
Objectives
This Conference is opened to the whole Asset Management world and will present the latest developments in various industries (roads, waterways, energy…) and on different continents. It aims at:
- offering opportunities for international and multi-sector networking with actors from South-East Asia, Middle-West, Eastern Europe and Western-Europe working in various fields like Infrastructure, Industry and Energy;
- providing Asset Managers with concrete examples and guidance to improve their capabilities, based on the UIC guideline;
- exploring the latest developments, knowledge and experience across the Asset Management World.
Topics
Among the potential subjects, UIC plans to address the following topics:
- What’s new in Regulation?
- Where Asset Management places in the organisation?
- Is the strategy able to accept innovation?
- Power of decision-making
- Data to support Asset Management
- Is the certification a value
- Performance to support strategies

The conference will be held over a two-day period:
20-21 April 2023 keynote speakers, case study presentations and discussions to provide Railway Infrastructure Organisations with concrete examples and guidance to improve their Asset Management capabilities
